Ahmadreza Abedzadeh started his football career in 1981 with the Isfahan Red Crescent team, then transferred to the Isfahan Tom team, and in 1983 he won the Isfahan championship with this team, and in 1985 he was invited to the Isfahan youth team.

In 1985, at the age of 18, he was invited to the national youth team camp and played his first game in the Fajr International Cup, and in 1986, he won the championship with the selected football team of Isfahan in the second round of the provincial football league. It became holy. In 1987, Abedzadeh joined the Tehran Gendarmerie Team to serve in the army, and after two years in 1989, he returned to Tom.

He joined Esteghlal Tehran team in 1990 and he got married in the same year and became the champion of Iran League; In the same year, Abedzadeh won the championship (by controlling three penalty kicks from him against North Korea in the final) with the Iranian national football team at the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing.

In 1991, he won the Asian Club Cup, Batim Esteghlal and after the victory over Liaoning China, and became the candidate for the top goal in Asia and Africa, and in the same year he won the Tehran Clubs Cup with Esteghlal.
